Majestic Shawl
Inspired by the 1920s era, this shawl will help you travel through time to a world of gorgeous costumes and delightful evenings spent at the movies and musicals. Majestic Shawl is a chic and fun shawl that is surprisingly easy to knit. The secret of its simplicity is that the colorwork is done using the mosaic knitting technique, a technique that knitters of all levels can enjoy. The shawl uses two colors of fingering weight yarn and it’s worked from the top down. In no time, you’ll have your little souvenir from the Roaring Twenties, all ready to wear!
Difficulty Advanced beginner - basic stitches, basic increases and decreases, chart reading (transcription included), mosaic technique.
Mosaic technique can easily be learned while knitting the shawl.
