This hat is designed in Dk/8 ply yarn for my young friend in the photo. So for every pattern sold, NZ $1.00 will go to a children’s charity in New Zealand. We are going to start with Starship Hospital.
The ear flaps are knitted flat and then it is knitted in the round from the bottom up. The finish at the edges in completed last and can be crocheted or knitted.
There are four sizes, baby, toddler, small adult/teen and large adult.
It take 110 - 200 metres of yarn, but if you use two colours as per the photo you’ll need at most 100 metres of each colour.
