By combining a light weight yarn with a strand of mohair, you can knit loosely and make your yarn “go further” ….

  • it’s also a great way for those who don’t spin or dye, to make their mark with their own unique yarn

  • it’s a good way to use fingering/sock yarn that’s been hanging around in your stash - maybe it’s too bright ? maybe it’s too dull ? maybe it’s just too fine - combining with mohair can help you get the result YOU want.

allow at least 350m of each yarn to make a triangle with a topline of 150cm/60” (if you want a bigger triangle just allow more yardage.

The pattern can also be knitted with a single strand (see sample in photo #2 - made with DK and 4.5mm needles - for that version, allow at least 450m )
