I in no way invented the hexagon shape. I was just was messing around with the toe of a sock and discovered I could make this shape and wanted to make knit makeup remover pads and bam there you have this pattern. Knowing there are many other hexagon patterns out there I made this pattern and released it for free. Enjoy!*

I think we are all looking to live a bit more sustainably and wanting to save a bit of money while we do it. One way I am reducing waste in my life is by using and knitting my own reusable cotton rounds to remove makeup, apply my toner and gently cleanse my eyes. The amount of transport and chemicals that go into cotton rounds and cotton balls you end up disposing of is asstounding. Let’s knit our own and make a small change that can make a difference in the impact we have on the planet!

What You’ll Need:
Moderate knitting ability
1 ball of Sheepjes Catona or a cotton yarn adjust needle size accordingly
3mm DPN’s
Tapestry needle
