Here it is - the release of my Making Rainbows Blanket Crochet Pattern.

This blanket is made up of sunshine and rainbow panels together with a large filet crochet section forming the cloud and raindrops. There is a chart and written instructions for the filet crochet section, the sunshine and rainbow panels are a written pattern only (no chart).

Finished blanket measures approximately 34” by 40”

The sunshine and rainbow panels could be used without the filet crochet section to make an alternative blanket.

I made the blanket in the photos using Stylecraft Special DK but it works equally as well in any weight yarn providing the same is used throughout.

I would suggest that this pattern is for crocheters with intermediate skills. Both US and UK terminology patterns are included. Please ensure you check which one you are working from. Also included is a pdf. photo tutorial of the rainbow border. Two different borders are given for this blanket.

UK terms used include: magic loop/ring, dc, tr, dtr, ttr, tr2tog
US terms used include: magic loop/ring, sc, dc, tr, dtr, dc2tog

The pattern includes photos for any tricky parts of where to join the new yarn but it is not a step by step photo tutorial.
