“I didn’t start this.” ~Captain Malcolm Reynolds

This one is for the brown coats and other Firefly fans (and really, what Firefly fan isn’t a brown coat?) This story starts with a skein of yarn named Captain Tight Pants… staring at me, begging me to work it up. Captain Mal taunted me… but what to do with him? I had one or two ideas ;) After having just completed a project using single stitch cables, the bay doors of Serenity needed to come alive in this pattern.

Get your very own skein of Captain Tight Pants from Brazen Stitchery!!!

Mal-Wear has 3 size charts. Mitts are made by repeating the chart twice around (working flat for the thumb) and the boot cuff is worked three times around.

Single stitch cables are performed right on your needles. No need for a cable needle! I even throw in a hint for consistent cables.
