A lovely pattern for spring and summer. Designed in a soft and luxurious blend : organic cotton and baby alpaca. The perfect outfit for baby’s first summer!

Available in size newborn, 0-6 mos, 6-12 mos and 12-24 mos.

The fingering weight yarn used in this pattern was doubled to obtain gauge of 22 sts & 28 rows = 4 inches. One skein of Illimani Yarn Sabri is actually enough for size newborn to size 6-12 months. (200 to 500 meters required)

You can also use single yarn with DK or light worsted and you will need about half less meters

This romper is worked from the crotch to the top of the bib. It is first knit flat at the crotch on both sides and then joined and worked in round in one piece. The front bib is then again worked flat and the suspenders are knit in the continuation of the bib.

You will also need:
4 mm circular needles depending on the gauge
3.5 mm circular needles (optional) for waist rib
3 x Snap buttons (or 12 mm buttons) for crotch
4 x 15 mm buttons (for suspenders)
