The Mallard Duck Tea Cosy knitting pattern is a brilliant tea cosy that transforms your teapot into a super cute mallard duck and keeps your tea hot. I chose to design a male mallard because mallards are the most popular duck in Britain, and because the male mallards are more colourful with that lovely green head and blue detailing on the wings.

Mallard Duck tea cosy is a lovely pattern what is quite quick to make. He’s designed to look like he’s swimming along, so he hasn’t got any legs of feet.

You could of course when the duck in other colour ways to create a American Pekin duck tea cosy or a Khaki Campbell duck tea cosy for example.

It’s a lovely tea cosy for duck collectors and people who love wildfowl; of for people who enjoy visiting rivers and lakes and watching the ducks.

The Mallard Duck tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.

The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
