This is a simple, unisex cardigan. It is constructed from the top down and worked in one piece. The yoke features garter stitch bars, with the main body of the cardigan worked in a simple slip stitch.
You have the option to knit the sleeves in the round or flat. Instructions are given for both.
The top section of the cardigan and sleeves are worked on 4mm (US 6) needles to a gauge of 22sts and 30 rows.
The slip stitch design is worked on 4.5mm (US 7) needles to a gauge of 22sts and 28 rows.
You are advised to knit a gauge square for the slip stitch before you start the cardigan.

The cardigans in the photos have been knitted in Rico Merino Essentials DK shade silver grey and Drops Cotton Merino shade lilac.
