My second mom likes her scarves knit tight and long so she can wrap them around her neck and not have the wind get in. I needed something easy to knit while I sat in class so I could still participate in the discussion. I have at times only knit 4 edge stitches, or done 10 edge stitches as well. This is a very forgivable pattern in so much that one can change up the numbers and the scarf will still be tightly knit and warm.
The scarves are usually about 8 inches wide and 6-7 feet long, until the yarn runs out.

Yarn: 2 skeins DK Weight yarn, pick your own colors
Needles: US 8 (5 mm), straight needles
Notions: tapestry needle
