Manacles is another in our series of Mindless Sock patterns.

Perfect pattern for beginning knitters.

It has no stitches to pick up for the gusset and has a very simple heel.

It includes both top down and toe up versions!

This sock slouches around your ankle and looks adorable! Also great for “puffy ankles”.

You can do it all one color or do the lace sections in a contrasting color.

Needle: 2.25mm (Be sure to check mm, not all US sizes are the same) or needle needed to achieve gauge.

Gauge: 9st/in with stockinette in the round

Yarn: 300-400+ yards of sock yarn in two contrasting colors. (This will depend on how long you want the leg. To make the “manacle” work properly by slouching, you will want at least 5-6 inches , but I recommend at least 8). You need approximately 300 yards of MC and 100 yrds of CC

Sizes: S,M,L,XL (CO 60 (64,68,72))
