This oversize cardigan is worked bottom up on the standard gauge knitting machine using English rib pattern.
Sleeves are made bottom up and they are attached to the body using knitting machine.
Shoulder slopes are made using short rows.
Shoulders are connected on knitting machine.
Front bands are made together with left and right front parts. Bands are folded to the wrong side and sewn using mattress stitch.

Yarn: 700/1000g of Zegna Baruffa Cashwool 2/48 Cobweb 100% Merino 2400m/100g, 4 threads united for the resulting yarn 600m/100g. Resulting yarn length required 4200/6000meters.

Machine: standard gauge Silver Reed or Brother with two beds (for English rib).

Gauge: 38 sts and 90 rows in 10cm of English rib made with tension 0•/2•, washed and dry.

2 sizes:
to fit bust 88-104cm/116-148cm (34.5”-41”/45.5”-58”)
to fit hips 90-114cm/122-156cm (35.5”-45”/48”-61.5”)

Full length 70cm (27.5”), from neck base till wrist 68/78.5cm (26.5”-31”)

-make decreases and increases on English rib;
-make short rows on English rib for shoulder slopes;
-shoulder joining on knitting machine;
-attaching sleeves to the body armline on knitting machine;
-sewing front band on right and left front pieces WS (from very beginning to the last knot);
