I used three different colors and switched between each round. However, during testing I did make some with just two colors, and those also turned out get. So get creative :)

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tc = treble crochet
picot = chain 3, slip stitch into the first chain

sp = space
