I made this cowl for my husband to wear on our dog walks in the early morning. His neck was always exposed and he hated wearing a scarf. This litle piece, knit in the round and decreased at the neckline, gave him the coverage needed without the bulk or worry of a scarf.
It became his favorite winter warmer.
Use any bulky weight yarn and just a little bit of a contrast color to work the bind-off row. That gives the piece a little flair and style.
My husband has a short neck so if you need to you can make it a little longer after the decrease. Don’t add too much length or it will turn over and not fit exactly right. have fun and keep knitting!
