Stockinette Stitch (crossed):
(A Treasury of Knitting Patterns, by Barbara Walker. (vol 1.). Stockinette Stitch variation 2.)

Row 1 (RS): Knit through the back loop of each stitch across.
Row 2 (WS): Purl across.

Finished Chest Sizes: 38-40 (42-44, 46-48) inches

The pattern is featured in the “White is Sporty” article and is the cover photo. There is a Woman’s Version. There is no schematic.

The sleeves are 19.5-20 inches long.

The neckline is a wide scoop that is close to a boat-neck.
