The Manta Ripple has a triangular shape that resembles a Manta Ray! Combine 2 or 3 colors to show off the ripples that mimic the gentle ebb and flow of waves.

Made almost completely in garter stitch, this shawl knits up fast and the ripple pattern will keep you engaged. When you work the I-Cord Bind-off and your stitches are freed from the needles, the fabulous chevron edge will appear.

To wear your Manta Ripple, fold the top part down for extra warmth, then tie the shawl behind your neck. Or you can drape it around your shoulders like a wrap and tie at the front.

I used 2 skeins of madelinetosh Tosh Sock (1 skein Silver Fox and 1 skein Black Velvet) for the 2-Color-Version.
For the 3-Color-Version I used Wollträume Merino High Twist (1 skein Orange, 1 skein Sand and 1 skein Dschungel).
