Autumn in Eastern Canada has our iconic maple leaves turn gorgeous shades of oranges and reds. Summer comes to an end and students return to classes with a slight chill in the air. That memory is depicted in this fall cardigan with a simple cropped shape and an easy to do texture. With that student in mind we are using a sturdy, easy to launder, worsted weight yarn. We have not included buttonholes, as I have never seen a student button up, but those so inclined might add a zipper or snaps.
Knit in pieces and seamed for structure and durability.

Lionbrand Pound of Love (1020yds/932m, 16oz/454g, 100% Acrylic: 1 (1,1,1,2) 2,2,2,2 skeins
671 (734, 876, 955, 1030, 1092, 1167, 1246, 1322) yds / 613 (671, 801, 873, 942, 998, 1067, 1139, 1208) m
US Size 10 (6.00mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Stockinette: 15 sts x 22 rows = 4”/10cm after blocking. To save time, take time to check gauge.
