Maple Shawl by Anastasia Vishnevsky

Maple Shawl

This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

This is a “recipe” for a sideways triangular shawl with random colorwork. It may be done in a single color, or as many colors as you wish.

The shawl is knit mostly in garter stitch, with one row of simple yarnovers creating a lace stripe.

It is gauge-less: you can knit this in the yarn of your choice (including handspun), on the needles of your choice, and stop when you’ve reached the desired size, or when you’re almost out of yarn.

You will need to hunt up the stretchy bind-off of your personal choice to complete it.

Feel free to sell completed items you make using this recipe; I would ask that if you do so, you make a donation, in any amount, to the animal or environmental charity of your choice.

Yarns used in mine are from Eat. Sleep. Knit.
