The hat is cast on using an Italian cast on to give the brim a neat edge. Then, the hat is worked bottom up in brioche in the round. When the desired length is reached, decorative decreases are worked for the crown. The generous folded brim, combined with the squishiness of the brioche stitch will keep your ears nice and warm. The hat is knit on 3 mm US 2.5 needles.
