About the pattern:

The Marais Sweater is a set-in sleeve sweater with a classic fit and clean half-twisted rib detailing. This pattern is recommended for confident beginners and intermediate knitters since it requires you to work German short rows but instructions are included in the pattern.

This pattern has been tested and professionally tech-edited. Still, if you find any mistakes or unclarities, please let me know and I will update the pattern.

Gauge:

22 sts x 30 rows on 4mm needles in stockinette = 10 x 10 cm

Sizing:

sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5
finished measurements:
95 (105) 115 (125) 135 cm body circumference
41.5 (42.75) 44 (45.25) 46.5 cm back width

When picking a size, consider both the body circumference and the back width (measure shoulder to shoulder). My sample has around 20 cm positive ease on the body and around 4 cm positive ease in the back width. If you want your shoulder “seams”/ top of the sleeve cap to sit right on the shoulder, you should have no ease in the back width.
