This scarf is inspired by a Marc Jacobs scarf I saw a few months ago. The original was made from a natural colored linen/wool blend. I chose to make my version in the always economical Cascade 220 in a heathered natural color. Although, if you can find a worsted weight linen blend to your liking, I think it would make an even more fabulous scarf and would have a great feel and hold its shape nicely.

Ruffle detail on scarf. The scarf is cast on at the edge of the first ruffle, and worked in alternating stockinette and reverse stockinette sections and is bound off at the edge of top ruffle on the other end. Stitches are picked up for the six additional ruffles and each knit separately.
