Hats with brims are in style right now, so jump on board and make up the March Hat! The diamond ribbing really makes this hat pop, and while the stitch may look a little intimidating, once you get the hang of it, it flies! I’ve included a handy photo tutorial on this stitch as well, in case you get lost.

This hat is worked in the round from the top down, and the brim is worked in short rows across the front of the hat. Besides the fptr2tog (for which I provide a tutorial), the pattern only uses sc, hdc, and dc. This pattern is perfect for someone who is tiring of the “Easy” patterns and is ready to add a new stitch to their bag of tricks.

The March Hat is part of the 2016 Sunshine Charlotte Hat CAL, designed in honor of my own Sunshine Charlotte. Check out the CAL project page on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sunshine-charlott...
