The Marcus Socks were inspired by a sweater in a Workbasket magazine. I loved the interplay of purls and knits and thought it would be fun to reimagine the sweater pattern as socks. This easy knit and purl pattern is perfect for any sock. A slipped stitch heel flap and square toe balance out the look of this sock.

Feel free to use double pointed needles, magic loop, or socks on two circulars. Any method may be used when making socks.

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to advanced knitter and all those in-between.

Both written and charted directions are included in this pattern. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.
