This pattern is for a repeat blanket, so you can make the blanket as big as you want by repeating a certain set of rounds.

The center square design of this blanket is also interchangeable with any of my 10-inch square patterns (more info below).

The written PDF pattern has detailed instructions, as well as lots of of images, tutorials, and tips to help you make it. You’ll also get a print-friendly version when you purchase the pattern.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Materials Needed:
DK yarn
4mm hook
Scissors
Stitch markers
Yarn needle

Size:
The Margaret Square (the center design of this blanket) measures 10 in. across.

My finished blanket, with 1 repeat and the border, measures 50 in. across.

Depending on your tension, yours may come out bigger or smaller, even if you use the stated yarn and hook size. To adjust the blanket’s size, you can change your tension, yarn weight, and/or hook size.

Compatibility:
The Margaret Square (the blanket’s center design) is compatible with the following squares:
• Karoline Square
• Katelyn Square
• Kelsi Square
• Kristi Square
• I Heart You Square
• It’s All Rainbows Square
These patterns are sold separately. This listing is only for the Margaret Square & Blanket pattern.

All of the above squares have the same finished size and stitch count as the Margaret Square.

As a result, for your blanket, you can change out the center Margaret Square design with one of the above compatible patterns.

All yarn used is Stylecraft Special DK.
