I love quick one skein projects. Because I live in the south, knitting anything that is too darn warm is out during the summer. So I always like to do accessories when I can. This turban has been in the back of my mind for a long time. I wanted something that was a mix of Maria Montez and Norma Desmond. (In face my model constantly said, I feel like I am giving my best Norma Desmond!…and she was!!!)

Margarete is knit flat from point to point. Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Twist in Carmine is perfect for this project (as will any Super Bulky yarn) and the stripes and simple color blocking just give it that added edge!
