This shawl is named after my paternal grandmother Margit. I loved the idea of celebrating her memory by naming the first shawl I ever designed after her. So here it is – Margit the shawl!

This design feature a stitch that I call cluster (it probably has a different name) and some easy eyelet lacework.

Gauge is not important for this project, just pick a needle size that gives you a light and airy fabric that will drape beautifully. The shawl is blocked to size.

The pattern is available in Swedish and English. I would be happy to receive translations to other languages.

Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments on the pattern or if you need additional instructions. If you think you have found a mistake in my pattern, please let me know as soon as possible!

Happy knitting!
