This is a pattern for very sweet broken rib socks This pattern comes with instructions for two different weights: fingering and DK!

This size breakdown is as follows (as measured around the widest part of the foot--usually the ball of the foot)
Size 1: 7in
Size 2: 8in
Size 3: 9in
Size 4: 10in

For this pattern you will need between 250m and 480 meters, depending on what weight of yarn you are using and whether you choose to do a contrast cuff and toe (in which case you will need a mini skein in your colour choice).

For fingering-weight socks:
~480 m (400 MC, 80CC) held single
US 1/2.25mm double-pointed needles
Gauge: 32sts x 42 rows in stockinette for 10cm x 10cm or 4in x 4in

For DK-weight socks:
~480 m (400 MC, 80CC) of fingering-weight yarn held double
US 4 / 3.5mm double-pointed needles
Gauge: 24sts x 26 rows in stockinette for 10cm x 10cm or 4in x 4in
