Mariana is a capelet/poncho with a ruched hem, pretty lace band detailing, and softly pointed hood with a decorative edging. The main body is worked in the round then divided for the hood, which is worked flat and grafted together at the top.

Yarn
Any DK weight yarn. Capelet shown uses B&M Supreme Double Knitting Yarn, 100% acrylic. Worsted and sport weights have been used in the test knits with success (just make sure to obtain gauge).

Needles/Notions
4mm (US 6) and 6mm (US 10) circular needles (32 inch/80cm) - or size needed to obtain gauge.
