Marie Headband
Marie Headband is a simple and adjustable headband knit in double moss stitch. The headband has i-cords, that are used to tie the headband.
Introduction to the pattern
First, an i-cord tie is knit, then increases for the headband are worked. When the headband reaches the desired length, decreases are worked before knitting the last i-cord tie.
Measurements for the headband
Width: 5,5 cm 2.2 inches
Length: adjustable.
Gauge
10 stitches x 14 rows = 5 x 5 cm 2 x 2 inches on 3,5 mm US 4 needles in double moss stitch.
Recommended needle size
3,5 mm US 4 needles, double pointed needles or circular needles.
Materials
Approximately 20 gram Double Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 108 m 118 yards) or yarn with a similar wight and length. 20 grams are enough for an adult headband.
