INTRODUCTION:
Marie-Laure is a fitted, contiguous set-in sleeve shirt that is knit top-down. It has puffy sleeves to accentuate the shoulders. The body is waist-shaped, & the cinched ribbing waist band adds contour to the figure. It is worn with no ease for all sizes.

The body & sleeves are embellished with wrap-around duplicate stitching after blocking, & it is slightly cropped to be worn with high-waisted bottoms.

Marie-Laure is named after the protagonist in the Netflix show “All the Light We Cannot See”.

Project Level: Intermediate.
(If this is your first time doing duplicate stitching, go slow & always doublecheck your work & you shouldn’t have any problems )

Sample garment shown is to fit 32” bust.

The suggested skeins of yarn for the whole project are 6 (7, 8) of MC & 1 (1, 1) of the CC yarn listed below. When in doubt, always get an extra skein.
