First it is worked in the round, then back and forth as a long rectangle, and then in the round again. Finally, the second cuff is worked in the round in single rib with decreases.

The fit is influenced by individual body proportions and the elasticity of the finished knitted fabric. The length of the shawl can easily be adjusted along the way to achieve the desired fit.

The finished measurements of the garment when knitted at gauge are listed on the first page of the pattern. Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat, after washing and blocking.
