Marie’s Lace Shawlette is crescent shaped, beginning at top center back and worked down and outward. A center panel echoes the lace pattern of the generous “wings”. This design is suitable for solid or tonal yarns.
I designed the lace pattern to reflect the moiré taffeta of my paternal grandmother Marie’s afternoon dresses. With this shawl, I remember her with love and appreciation.

5/15/12 Pattern revised to correct error in Chart B; repeat borders corrected.
