The Marigold Sweater is a classic raglan sweater worked in an all-over colourwork pattern using three colours.
The sweater is worked top-down in the round with short-rows at the neck and increases along the sleeves and body. The sleeves are finished with decreases, creating a balloon-effect before the ribbing. The body is lightly cropped.

Difficulty:
★★★★★

Width:
84 (96) 108 (120) 132 (144) 156 (168) 180 (192) cm.
The sweater is designed with a positive ease of around 15 to 25%. This means that you should choose a size where the width is 15 to 25% larger than the widest part of your upper body.

42 (48) 48 (48) 54 (54) 54 (60) 60 (60) cm.

Gauge:
20 stitches x 20 rows on 6 mm needles – or whichever needed to obtain gauge – in stranded knitting = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
20 stitches on 4.5 mm needles – or whichever needed to obtain gauge – in 1x1 ribbing = 10 cm after washing and blocking.
NB: as the sweater is worked in the round, it is very important that the gauge swatch is also worked in the round.

Recommended needles:
6 mm circular needles (40 and 80/100 cm), 6 mm dpns, 4.5 mm circular needles (40 and 80/100 cm), and 4.5 mm dpns
