Mariine Shawl Top is a lightweight and breezy summer piece, worked flat and finished with buttons at the sides to transform it into a relaxed top. The simple lace pattern adds a touch of elegance without being overly complicated — perfect for summer knitting. So pretty, so easy! Knit and enjoy!

The pattern also includes a bonus: instructions for the Mariine Triangle Shawl, which can also be turned into a top with buttons for a different look. The finished size of the shawl is 82 cm x 125 cm (approximately 32¼“ x 49¼”), but it’s easy to adjust the size. The sample shawl is large enough to be worn as a top by someone who wears size XS–S.

Mariine on kevyt ja ilmava pitsihuivi, joka viimeistelyssä yhdistetään napeilla kesäpaidaksi. Huivi neulotaan tasona. Yksinkertaiseen malliin saa ilmeikkyyttä valitsemalla työhön luonteikkaan eläväpintaisen langan ja puunapit. Helmassa on viistotut halkiot, mutta ohjeessa on neuvottu myös suoran helman tekeminen. Voit seurata kirjoitettua ohjetta sekä ruutupiirroksia. Ohje sisältää myös bonus-ohjeen, Mariine-kolmiohuivin ohjeen. Huivin koko on 82 cm x 125 cm, mutta siihen on helppo tehdä muutoksia. You need 130 g (XS), 150 g (S), 170 g (M), 190 g (L) of yarn for the top. You will also need 6 ø 1.5 cm buttons.

One pair of size 3,5 mm (US 4) needles or a 3,5 mm/80-100 cm (US 4/32”-40“) circular needle
