ENGLISH:

The Marin top is knitted in a textured stitch that creates an impression of marine cord. Its motif is easy to make only with knit stitches and purl stitches. Its thick cotton thread brings comfort and elegance. Its top-down assembly (from top to bottom) allows you to define the length of the body. You will knit the front piece first to the armholes. Then you will pick up stitches on the shoulders to knit the back to the armholes. Finally, you will knit the back and front at the same time from the armholes to the given or desired length. The pattern chart is given for each size as well as the related explanations.

The Marin top is meant to be worn with 0 to 4 cm of positive ease.

Sizes: S / M / L / XL / 2XL

Bust sizes ( under armholes ) : 86 / 95 / 105 / 114 / 124 cm with 0 to 4 cm of positive ease.

Lenght : Your choice. Recommended length 50 / 52 / 54 / 56 / 58 cm

Gauge: 10X10 : 17 stitches and 22 rows in stockinette stitch using 5mm needle

Pattern Gauge textured: 10X10 : 21 stitches and 28 rows using 4mm needle

Suggested needles: Circular needle 4 mm 80 cm, 3 mm ( 40 and 80 cm or only 80 cm with magic loop method)

Material: Row counter, stitches markers.

Suggested yarns : Cotton Paris, Drops or yarn with equivalent gauge and weight.
1 ball = 50 g for 75 meters.

FRANCAIS:

Le top Marin est tricoté dans un point texturé qui crée une impression de cordage marin. Son motif est facile à réaliser puisqu’il n’est fait que de mailles endroit et de mailles envers. Son fil en coton épais apporte confort et élégance. Son montage en top down (du haut vers le bas) vous permet de définir la longueur du corps. Vous tricoterez en premier le devant jusqu’aux emmanchures. Dans un second temps vous relèverez des mailles aux épaules pour tricoter le dos jusqu’aux emmanchures. Enfin, vous tricoterez le dos et le devant en même temps à partir des emmanchures jusqu’à la longueur désirée. La grille motif est donnée pour chaque taille ainsi que les explications qui y sont liées.
