The Marine Layer Sweater is a top-down raglan sweater featuring rolled hems and a unique stripe chart. This pattern has been tech edited. As always, a matching made-to-measure pet sweater pattern is included!

This design highlights the moody clouds that rest along the Pacific horizon. Soft stripes of mist mimic layers of coastal fog, creating this minimal yet unique piece.

Materials

• Yarn: worsted weight recommended
• The sample uses Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino in Poppy Blue (main color) and Pearl Gray (accent color).
• Estimated total yarn quantities:
  • 855, 985, (1135, 1305, 1465), 1650, 1830 yards
  • 780, 900, (1035, 1190, 1340), 1510, 1670 meters
  • (These numbers refer to the total yarn needed for the entire sweater. You will need approximately equal amounts of the main color and secondary color.)
• For reference, the sample is knit in size 2, and used 480 yards of the main color and 505 yards of the secondary color, for a total of 985 yards.
