Marinus - from Latin - meaning of the sea

Marinus socks feature an all over texture stitch pattern, which creates an illusion of movement reminiscent of the varying height and continuous flow of the water in the sea.

The texure stitch pattern creates a slouchy feeling sock without the extra fabric.

Worked from the cuff with a garter stitch variation of the eye of the partridge heel flap and Dutch heel turn, finishing with rounded toe shaping.

The fully written pattern includes pictures to illustrate techniques and a chart for the stitch pattern only.

Marinus socks are perfect for using colourful hand dyed yarns.
