Marion’s hat is the perfect match for Marion’s cowl! Choose between three sizes. The hat is knit from the top down, so you can easily adjust it to the length you prefer. Finished measurements:
Brim: 46 cm [18’’], (51 cm [20’’], 58.5 cm [23’’] )

Gauge:
32 sts and 36 rounds = 10 cm [4’’] in stockinette stitch in the round after blocking
Lace: 1 pattern repeat is 6.4 cm [2.5’]’ wide and high, worked in the round and after blocking

Materials:
Siidegarte Siide-Fideel (120 g, [4.2 oz], 480 m [525 yd], 50 % silk, 50 % merino), 1 hank Tinteblueme or
approx. 165 m [185 yd] (205 m [225 yd] 265 m [290 yd] fingering weight yarn of your choice
One hank of Siide-Fidel is enough for the long cowl and the hat in size S or M.
3 mm [US 2.5] needles for your favorite method of knitting in the round
Optional: 2 mm [US 0] needles for your favorite method of knitting in the round (or one size smaller than you used for the hat) needle for the ribbing.
(Designer’s note: I’m a loose knitter, so you may want to try bigger needles if you aren’t.)
