Butterfly™ features a unique stripe pattern
where approximately two thirds of the cake
is one solid color and the remaining third
features a 5-color stripe.
This Poncho is worked from the neck down
starting with the larger solid section of the cake
and in joined rounds without turning. Increases
occur every third round at two points to form a
V-neck in the center front and center back. Join
all rounds with a slip stitch. Pattern is written
for 1 cake of yarn. A longer poncho can be
made using 2 cakes and continuing the pattern
repeat if desired. Keep the stripe sequence
in mind and add the 2nd cake accordingly if
choosing to increase the length.
