The Marjolaine pullover is knitted seamlessly top-down starting at the neckband. A beautiful lace pattern is worked on the yoke.
The sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and knitted separately in stockinette stitch. The back is shaped with short-rows to give it a bit more length and to improve the fit.

The length of the body and sleeves are easily modified to suit your own body measurements. You can easily modify the body shorter for a crop version to wear with a dress, a skirt or why not imagine a shorts sleeves or ¾ sleeves version.

For a summer version, Marjolaine pullover pattern will also be perfect for all your favorite summer yarns: linen, hemp, cotton, silk or viscose…

Please be aware that adjusting the length of the garment will also affect the amount of yarn needed to finish the project.

Yarn
The Marjolaine pullover uses a strand of fingering weight yarn held together with a strand of lace weight yarn, but they can be substituted for a single strand of DK weight yarn. If you wish to work a DK weight version, follow only the yarn amount requirements for the fingering weight yarn.

Gauge
20 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm /4 inches of Stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles, after blocking

Please note the whole pattern is knitted in circular, it is preferable to realize a your gauge in round.

Needles
• 4,5 mm US 7 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 3,5 mm US 4 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Marjolaine se tricote en circulaire du haut vers le bas (top-down) sans couture en commençant par l’encolure.
L’empiècement circulaire est travaillé dans un motif de dentelle.

Le corps et les manches sont séparés sous les emmanchures puis travaillées séparément en circulaire en jersey.
Le dos est façonné à l’aide de rangs raccourcis pour le rallonger, améliorer la coupe et le confort.
Une fois le travail du corps terminé, les mailles des manches sont reprises et tricotées en circulaire en jersey.

Vous pouvez réaliser une version plus courte à porter à la taille ou pourquoi pas en imaginer une version manches courtes ou ¾.

Le patron comprend les instructions écrites des diagrammes utilisés.

Nécessite un fil ou un mélange de fil de type sport à DK.

Marjolaine a été tricoté en tenant ensemble de deux fils, un fil fingering avec un fil lace. Vous pouvez remplacer ces deux fils par un seul fil de type sport à DK vous permettant d’obtenir l’échantillon recherché.

Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté en tenant ensemble, un fil de « Ulysse » de De Rerum Natura, 100 % Mérinos d’Arles français et mérinos noir portugais cardé (185 m / 50 g) couleur : Poivre Blanc
et un fil « Bérénice » de De Rerum Natura, super 55% Super Kid Mohair, 25 % soie mulberry, 20 % mérinos d’Arles biologique (210 m /25 g). couleur : Orgeat

Métrage
environ (820, 918, 1056) 1100, 1210, 1330 (1450, 1600, 1760) m pour chacun des fils.

Échantillon 
20 mailles x 30 rangs en jersey endroit pour un carré tricoté de 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage.

Attention l’ensemble de l’ouvrage est tricoté en circulaire, il est préférable de réaliser un échantillon en rond.

Matériel 
• Aiguille circulaire en 4,5 mm ou de la taille nécessaire pour obtenir le bon échantillon.
• Aiguille circulaire en 3,5 mm pour les finitions des manches et de l’encolure.
