This summer dress is made from tightly twisted cotton yarn meant to withstand some serious romping. Sizes 6 months and up have some built in positive ease to allow for some room for growth. This garment can evolve with the child for some time, working as a tunic, and then a tank top. This can be a multi seasonal item when it is layered over other items or paired with leggings.

Measurements are based on Craft Yarn Council guidelines for sizing, but if you have the opportunity, please measure the child you will knitting for as individual measurements can vary greatly. If you wish for additional length, it can easily be added to the skirt before the decreases. Remember to account for additional yardage if adding length.
