DESCRIPTION
The Marled Yarn Scrapghan is one of the designs in my Scrappy Collection. The patterns in this Collection have been specifically designed to use up all those part balls that are in your stash.

In this pattern, the yarn is combined by holding two strands together to create marled yarn, a distinctive, one-of-kind tweed fabric created by your own colour choices.

Some of the benefits of marled yarn are:

  • You can combine colours to suit your own colour preferences rather than be restricted by what’s available in the yarn shop
  • Combining two strands makes a thicker yarn which means a quicker make and a warmer blanket
  • It’s a stash buster!

Besides pictorial guidance, video support, special stitch and technique instructions, the pattern also includes a colour planner and ideas on how to combine colours from your stash together for a pleasing result.

Here’s some of the things testers said about this pattern:

  • I loved the way you could do the sections separately and then join them.
  • I enjoyed the freedom in colour choice.
  • Loved that there were large sections of repeated rows so it didn’t feel like I had to look at the pattern 24/7.
  • I enjoy how textured the finished product looks even though it is just 3 different stitches used.
  • It’s (pattern) well written and easy to follow.
  • It lets every person’s creativity to be expressed in the finished project.
  • I love the uniqueness to make it your own.
  • Another way to use up our stash and create a very warm beautiful one of a kind masterpiece.
