Welcome to marlin slipover!
The Marlin Slipover is knitted top down. The collar covers your neck just enough to give you the warmth and its drape is just effortlessly chic.
You will increase only on the body stitches until the slipover reaches the edge of your shoulders. Then, the front and back panel will be knitted separately to make the armhole. Once you have reached your desired armhole depth, the front and back panel will be connected again, and you continue to knit the body in the round until you reach the preferred length minus hem. The hem has the final detail of cabling and separating it, and the front hem will be shorter than the back hem.
This is a seamless construction, resulting in a chic garment., which you can just throw on when the weather gets colder. It’s also great to wear underneath a coat.
