Marlowe is a cheeky little monkey to knit up and love.

This pattern is knit in the round in separate pieces and seamed together at the end, with the exception of his ears which are picked up and knit onto the head.

While gauge isn’t terribly important, I suggest using a needle at least 2 sizes smaller than recommended for your yarn choice to give you a firmer fabric that will not allow the stuffing to escape.

Additional materials needed include 100% wool roving for stuffing. Wool stuffing has a very pleasant weight and warmth to it that cannot be replicated with polyester toy stuffing. Although you could substitute with the toy stuffing, the wool stuffing helps to make for a sturdier and cuddlier monkey.
