ABOUT MARS
Mars is a small, brightly coloured bunny with big, shiny eyes. He tends to show up where paths split or where something interesting is half-hidden. He hops ahead, pauses, and looks back, as if checking that you’re still there. If you follow him, he leads you to overlooked places, unexpected finds, and things you wouldn’t have noticed on your own. He waits, ears tilted, until you catch up.

ABOUT THE PATTERN
Mars the Bunny is an almost entirely no-sew amigurumi. Only the eyes and pompom tail are sewn on, and the nose is made with a few simple stitches. The pattern also includes a crocheted tail that you can make in one piece with the body if you prefer. The ears and limbs will be joined by crocheting as you go.

Palm-sized and poseable, Mars can sit up at attention or lay down with his legs either kicked out or tucked under his body.

Use any combination of hook and yarn to make different size bunnies. The pattern includes notes for making all three of the variations pictured.

YARN WEIGHT: The pattern is designed using double knit yarn, which is the equivalent to yarn weight 3, light worsted, 8 ply or 11 wpi. You can use any weight of yarn that you prefer for this project, and pair it with any hook you prefer.
