☀️ The slouchy hat that says hello, spring

This crochet slouchy hat is perfect for spring. It’s lightweight with a great stitch design, and even my puppy loves this one.

The crochet front edge has a knit look with some give, so it fits different head sizes comfortably.

✨ What makes it work

• Lightweight. Sport and DK weight cottons.
• Knit look edge. Single crochet in the horizontal bar gives stretch and polish.
• Crab stitch finish. A neat reverse single crochet edge.
• Light weight option. Notes for working it all in a light yarn.

✂️ What you’ll need

• Yarn: Pima Lino #3 (sport, 2) in Olive Blue Deep Mauve, approx. 165 yds · Ultra Pima, Cascade Yarns (DK, 3) in Buff for the front trim, approx. 45 yds
• Hooks: I (5.5mm), G (4.0mm), and H (5.0mm) for light weight yarn. Working it all in light weight yarn? Use the H for the body and the G for the trim
• Tools: Darning Needle · Scissors
