This sweater originally made in fancy fleecy yarn (the brown one). It all because my local yarn shop has so much stock of the yarn, and I also already want to make those into a sweater since a year ago. I am so happy that the thought become reality now. And become happier because when I re-knit the pattern using regular yarn, it still turns as cute as the fluffy yarn’s version! The name itself came from how the sweater is so soft and hugable (especially in fleecy yarn’s version). And the important thing is it comfy to use as daily sweater too.

Important notes:

This pullover in the fancy fleecy yarn is for intermediate or at least advanced beginner who really likes a challenge. The reason is only because of the yarn’s nature that will be frustrating for a beginner knitter.
But if you made this using regular yarn, an advanced beginner who already learned basic knitting, basic decrease, pick up, and willing to learn three-needle bind off, and (optional) invisible sewn bind off, will do just fine.

one size (140 cm/55 inches chest circumference).

Me myself tested this pattern twice. Once using fancy fleecy yarn, and second using regular yarn. My sample proved fit and comfortable to wear from S to XL size woman and also M Size Man.

I also consulted with my friend that have plus size body whether this size will fit her or not. And I was also lucky enough to get a lovely test knitter that could test if this sweater will fit the XXL size or not. And it fit! (If you want to make this sweater for a man, make the body part longer)

This pattern is fully in written.

First sample opened bulky weight Gosyo Fluffy fleecy yarn 100% Nylon (25 meters/25 grams) 17 balls of brown for body, and DK weight SA Poyeng yarn 100% Acrylic held double (113 meters/50 grams) 1 ball of grey for brims. Sweater’s weight in total is 460 grams.

Second sample opened Ice Yarn Akwool Bulky 70% Acrylic 30% Wool (140 meters/100 grams) 3 balls of green and 2 balls of yellow for body, and Red Heart With Love 100% Acrylic (338 meters/198 grams) 40 grams of berry red for brims. Sweater’s weight in total is 480 grams.

But, since those main yarns are already discontinued, please feel free to use your favorite yarns as long as it close to the gauge.

What you need are = bulky weight yarns (for the main yarn, my recommendation is using fleecy or fur yarn than regular yarn for extra cuteness), needle as recommended for the gauge, 5 stitch holders, 2 stitch markers.
