Martens (Martes americana) are small predators that are members of the weasel family that are found in Southern Alberta. They are noted for their curiosity, ferocity and lightning-fast reflexes.

The image of reddish-furred martens snaking and winding around tree branches in sinuous curves was the inspiration for this ripple-stitch cowl. Indulge your curiosity with this warm, snug cowl.
