Martine Top
Download my newly released “Martine top” pattern for free through August 18th, after that it will be listed at half price through the 22nd. Do me a favor, add the pattern to your faves, I would appreciate it~
To get the same look and feel as I have, you can knit yours with the same soft yarn I used from a knit kit. There are great colors to choose from.
The new Martine top is a delightful top to knit and to wear.
It is knitted both, flat and in the round with stunning lace panels in the front and the back. The neckline is slightly squarish and embellished with an I-cord bind off, the sides of the top are knitted in garter stitch that when they get seamed, make for a really nice detail. The sleeve stitches get picked up and knitted in the round and at some point decreased to give them a bit of a shape just before the two by two ribbed edging.
The one size fits most, blocked measurements are:
Bust: 55”
Length: 22.5”
Sleeve length: 6”
Sleeve circumference: 18”
