The Martini Shawl is named for the colorway of the pictured model: “Shaken Not Stirred”. Imagine you are at an elegant cocktail party, wearing your favorite little black dress, with the Martini Shawl artfully draped over your shoulders. What could be more chic and stylish? Wear the Martini Shawl and Happy Hour is just around the corner……..
The Martini Shawl is composed of all-over ripple lace, without a distracting spine or center panel. The shawl begins at top center back and is worked down and outward. Due to extra increases at the edge of every right side row, the finished shape is a shallow triangle. The ripple design enhances any hand-painted, tonal, or solid yarn.
